Mark Howell is a Research Assistant at Paragon Health Institute. He is passionate about advancing free-market solutions to improve healthcare access and affordability.
His prior experience includes health policy internships at the Texas Public Policy Foundation and the Heritage Foundation. He also completed the Don Lavoie Fellowship at the Mercatus Center and was a fellow at the John Jay Institute. During college, Mark worked as a tutor, helping students to study business and economics.
Mark graduated from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics and a minor in Mathematics. Originally from Texas, Mark now lives in Virginia with his wife. In his free time, he enjoys studying economics and playing jazz on the saxophone and piano.
