Paragon’s work on Medicaid redeterminations was mentioned in The New York Times story “As Medicaid Shrinks, Clinics for the Poor Are Trying to Survive”. The story by Noah Weiland rightly explains that “health policy experts” — specifically Paragon’s Brian Blase and Gary Alexander — “have also argued that shrinking the [Medicaid] rolls is important to sustaining the program financially.” And, as stated in the paper Pandemic Unwinding, “cleaning up [the] Medicaid rolls” will preserve “resources for the country’s most vulnerable.”
