Joe Albanese is the Paragon Health Institute’s Policy Analyst. He comes to Paragon with over six years of federal and nonprofit public policy experience.
Prior to coming to Paragon, Joe worked as a Program Examiner on the Medicare team at the White House’s Office of Management and Budget (OMB). While at OMB, he provided oversight of the Medicare program’s funding and operations, reviewed regulations and other major administrative actions, and contributed to publications such as the annual President’s Budget for the U.S. Government. Joe’s analysis and recommendations in this role helped to shape policy decisions by White House and Department of Health and Human Services officials.
Joe also has previous experience as a Research Fellow at the Institute for Free Speech, where his writing and analysis on political speech issues were published in outlets like National Review, Forbes, and the Washington Examiner. He holds a Master in Public Policy degree and a Bachelor of Science in International Political Economy degree from Georgetown University.
