Latest News

Paragon Health Institute is pleased to announce the addition of two key employees to its team: Drew Keyes and Anthony Wojtkowiak.

Drew Keyes started last week as Senior Policy Analyst at Paragon. Drew brings a decade of experience as a Congressional staffer, during which time he worked to advance free-market health policy reforms.

Most recently, Keyes served as a professional policy staffer for the Republican Study Committee (RSC) under Chairman Mike Johnson (R-LA) and then Chairman Jim Banks (R-IN). During his time with RSC, he was the staff lead for the RSC’s Health Care Task Force where he analyzed proposals, drafted legislation as well as letters from members of Congress, and provided policy counsel to RSC Member offices on all health care issues. In his role, he provided detailed analysis of every bill under his portfolio that came to the House floor for a vote and supplemented his work with policy papers and memos.

Drew also served as a Senior Legislative Assistant for Representative Tom McClintock (R-CA) after getting his start on Capitol Hill with Representative Louie Gohmert (R-TX) in 2012.

Chairman Banks praised Keyes’ work for Congress. “Drew Keyes is a true subject matter expert with years of experience analyzing and crafting health care legislation on Capitol Hill. We were sad to see him go and wish him the best on his next endeavor.”

Anthony Wojtkowiak joined Paragon Health Institute as their Director of Communications earlier this year and has already accomplished crucial work such as developing Paragon’s brand, forecasting Paragon’s long-term communications strategy, and upgrading Paragon’s website. He joins Paragon with over ten years of experience in communications and filmmaking.

Wojtkowiak was most recently the Senior Video Producer at American Enterprise Institute, where he produced, wrote, directed, edited, and marketed videos featuring Vice President Dick Cheney and scholars including Arthur Brooks, Jonah Goldberg, Charles Murray, and Christina Hoff Sommers. Anthony also helped pioneer AEI’s video series, including In 60 Seconds, reThink Tank, Define, and Faces of Policy.

Anthony was the MTV Choose or Lose Street Team Reporter for Florida during the 2008 election; his work included covering the 2008 Republican National Convention. He interviewed many politicians and celebrities, including Mike Huckabee, Donna Shalala, Matt Damon, and Pharrell Williams.

John Cusey, AEI’s Vice President of Communications, spoke highly of Wojtkowiak. “Anthony Wojtkowiak’s creativity and entrepreneurial spirit helped AEI to make public policy engaging in new ways for new audiences. We look forward to seeing him do amazing things in his new role.”
