Joel M. Zinberg, M.D., J.D. is the Director of the Public Health and American Well-Being Initiative at Paragon Health Institute, and a senior fellow with the Competitive Enterprise Institute. A native New Yorker, he recently completed two years as General Counsel and Senior Economist at the Council of Economic Advisers in the Executive Office of the President.

Paragon’s Dr. Joel Zinberg was on Mornings with Maria with Dagen McDowell to discuss the Inflation Reduction Act and the CDC’s response to COVID.

During the interview, Zinberg explained that the CDC, under Walensky, had strayed from its “original purpose.” 

“They’re talking about social justice, they’re talking about environmental issues. They’re talking about everything but their base, core mission.”
