Allan Hubbard

In 1977, Allan Hubbard co-founded E&A Companies. In addition to searching for new acquisition opportunities, Hubbard’s oversees E&A’s current portfolio. E&A has successfully grown companies in numerous industries including specialty chemicals, baked goods, hotel amenities, light fixtures, aircraft engine parts, campervan rental, women’s apparel, and proprietary drinkware.

In addition to his work at E&A Companies, Hubbard served in the White House under two different administrations. For President George W. Bush, Hubbard was Assistant to the President for Economic Policy and Director of the National Economic Council. During the George H.W. Bush administration, Hubbard was Executive Director of the President’s Council on Competitiveness.

Currently, Hubbard serves on the Board of Directors of the Simon Property Group, The Heritage Group, Lumina Foundation, Indiana Commission for Higher Education, Institute for Quality Education (Chair), Rise, Indiana Chamber of Commerce, ExcelinEd, and Hoosiers for Affordable Healthcare (Chair).

Hubbard earned his J.D., cum laude, from Harvard Law School, his MBA with Distinction from Harvard Business School, and his B.A., cum laude, from Vanderbilt University.

Hubbard and Kathy are parents of three adult children.
