A discussion about the growing federal health spending crisis and what Congress can do to stem the tide.

Please join us for lunch at our upcoming Congressional Health Policy Education Program event in RHOB 2044. Lunch will be provided. Please feel free to share this invite with any health care staffer you think would be interested. This event is for full-time staff only.

During the event, Congressional health staff will have the opportunity to learn from and connect with experts with extensive knowledge about the growing federal health spending crisis and what Congress can do to stem the tide.

Panelists include:

Brian Blase — President, Paragon Health Institute; Special Assistant to the President for Economic Policy at the White House’s National Economic Council (NEC) from 2017 to 2019

Paul Winfree — Distinguished Fellow in Economic Policy and Public Leadership at The Heritage Foundation; Deputy Assistant to the President for Domestic Policy, the Deputy Director of the Domestic Policy Council, and the Director of Budget Policy, all at the White House, 2017

Chuck Blahous — J. Fish and Lillian F. Smith Chair and Senior Research Strategist at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University; Public Trustee for Social Security and Medicare from 2010 through 2015.
