Directing Medicare: Past, Present, and Future

This event will feature a conversation between Paragon’s Demetrios Kouzoukas, who served as the Director of Medicare at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) during the entire first Trump term, and Chris Klomp, who is the current Director of Medicare at CMS.

· DATE AND TIME: January 27, 1pm—2 pm EST

· LOCATION: Virtual Event (Zoom)

Medicare is the largest and most influential federal health program. Every year, CMS issues important regulatory changes and updates to Medicare payments and policies.

Join us for a timely and important discussion on Medicare reforms past, present, and future — and what they mean for America’s seniors and the country moving forward.  Chris and Demetrios are the best two people in the country to provide perspective on these issues, and they will discuss site-neutral payments, encouraging competition and expanding patient choice in Medicare, the future of Medicare Advantage, addressing drug prices, and more.

Panelists:

· Chris Klomp—Director of Medicare at CMS (2025-present)
· Demetrios Kouzoukas—Director of Medicare at CMS (2017-2021); Director of Paragon Health Institute’s Medicare Reform Initiative
