Congress members cite Paragon’s Brian Blase in letter seeking answers from Janet Yellen

On April 28, 2022, Representative Kevin Brady (R-TX) and Senator Mike Crapo (R-ID) published an open letter to Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen. In the letter, they ask Secretary Yellen to explain how the Biden Administration will justify “such a stark departure from [the] settled legal interpretation” of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and the ACA “family glitch”. The ACA “family glitch” is not a glitch at all according to Paragon Health Institute President Brian Blase, who explains that the “glitch” is an intentional part of the law that prevents an even greater federal spending due to the ACA. The letter cites Dr. Blase’s prior work on the family glitch.
